Kuro-orin Singing Bowl is made of bronze alloy with a satin-black patina. Three fine engraved rings encircle the bowl, adding a restrained decorative accent without breaking the dark surface.
Kuro-orin – Pure Tone, Minimal Form
Inspired by the orin bells used on Japanese household altars, this bowl produces a clear, sustained resonance suited to meditation, breath work, and sound-healing sessions. The design is simple, focused, and free of visual excess—letting the sound take the lead.
Production of Kuro-orin singing bowls
Bronze is melted and alloyed, then rolled into uniform sheets. Circular blanks are pressed in precision moulds to achieve consistent wall thickness and shape. After forming, each bowl is blackened using sulfide patination—a quick liver-of-sulfur dip that yields a deep, even satin-black finish. The result is a durable, low-maintenance singing bowl that delivers reliable performance session after session.
